Mark Schreiber provided a Physical Security presentation to the ASIS Western SC Chapter

On July 25th, 2014, Mark Schreiber provided the "Physical Security Principles for Security Management" presentation to the Western South Carolina Chapter of ASIS International.  Sharing lessons learned for Security Management from his extensive design experience, Mark Schreiber presented on the critical principles management should learn and focus on when planning a capital improvement project.  Mark Schreiber reviewed the multiple roles within the design and construction team, an overview of contemporary physical security technologies, the importance of risk assessments, functional requirements, and the physical security design basis.  He then tied the principles together to identify how an organization's business goals can be achieved by the security organization through the use of strategic planning of the security functional requirements and defining how the installed physical security system can support the organization's bottom line.  Feel free to contact Safeguards Consulting if you would like this presentation given to your team.
